What is recorded, what is not, and what you can switch off.
A time tracker sits inside your working day, so this page is specific rather than reassuring.
What is recorded
| Source | Fields |
|---|---|
| Desktop | Active application, duration, category, focus sessions |
| Browser | Active domain, duration, category |
What is never recorded
- Keystrokes.
- Window or document titles from the desktop app.
- Screenshots or screen recordings.
- File contents, messages or form input.
- Anything from an excluded application.
- Anything while tracking is paused.
What you control
- Pause tracking at any time.
- Exclude applications so they are never recorded.
- Reclassify categories, applications and domains.
- Sign out, which stops reporting from every machine.
- Delete the account, which removes the activity recorded against it.
Excluding and deleting
Excluding an application stops future recording but leaves existing rows in place. If the history needs to go too, delete the account.
