Focus Mode
A deliberate timer. Free Focus or a Pomodoro cycle, with configurable durations.
Focus Mode is a timer for deliberate work. It measures the time you meant to spend, not the amount you finished.
| Mode | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Free Focus | Runs for a chosen duration with no automatic breaks. |
| Pomodoro | Focus 25m, Short Break 5m, Long Break 15m by default. |
All three durations are configurable. 50/10/20 is a reasonable configuration if 25 minutes is shorter than your actual task.
When a session ends
Focus complete
25:00
Deep Work
Focus session completed · +25m Focused Time
Start Another · Take Break
That is the whole completion state. There are no confetti effects — the reward is the number going up.
What gets counted
- Focused Time increases by the elapsed duration.
- Total Tracked keeps counting whatever you are actually doing.
- Productive Time follows the categories of that activity, not the session.
- An interrupted session records the elapsed portion only.
What you need
A session needs an active desktop tracker. If tracking is paused or the app is not running, the session cannot be recorded. This is the usual reason a session will not start.
