Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TimeLet website (timelet.app), desktop app and browser extension (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
TimeLet tracks the websites and applications you use, with your permission, and turns that activity into a timeline, analytics, goals and focus tools. Features may change, and we may add, modify or remove parts of the Service at any time.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use TimeLet.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
- If you sign in with Google or GitHub, your use of that sign-in is also subject to Google's or GitHub's terms.
3. Tracking and consent
You control when tracking is on. You may only install and use TimeLet to track activity on devices and browsers you own or are authorized to use, and you may not use the Service to monitor another person without their knowledge and any consent required by law. If you use TimeLet on a device provided by an employer or school, you are responsible for following their policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or to violate anyone's rights.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts, or bypass security or rate limits.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service, except as permitted by law.
- Send automated or fake activity data intended to abuse or degrade the Service.
- Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
5. Your data
You own the activity data and content you put into TimeLet. You give us a limited license to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service to you. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and the TimeLet name, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the website, desktop app and extension for your own use in line with these Terms. Feedback you send us may be used to improve TimeLet without obligation to you.
7. Fees
TimeLet is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price and terms before you are charged, and you will not be moved to a paid plan without your agreement.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties such as hosting, database and sign-in providers. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
9. Termination
You can stop using TimeLet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service, and we will try to give you notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 10, 11 and 13) will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Time tracking is automated and may be incomplete or inaccurate; do not rely on TimeLet for billing, payroll, legal or safety-critical purposes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TimeLet and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold TimeLet harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which TimeLet's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer protections. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
